Just in time for the long, Labor Day weekend, Tetris Forever come to PC and Nintendo Switch. Tetris Forever is a docu-game. Part documentary, part game, an hour of footage detailing the history of Tetris from the original Electronika 60 console to present day will accompany 15 different versions of the people’s favorite.

Most GenXers are familiar with the original NES version. This docu-game will include Tetris 2 + Boombliss, Tetris 3, and more. A new game called Tetris Time Warp will also be featured. Tetris Time Warp supports up to 4 players and shifts different Tetris game play styles in real time.

Tetris Time Warp is the latest docu-game to be released by Digital Eclipse. The company also released The Making of Karateka. TMOK contained historical footage of the making of the game as well as a playable original.

Tetris Forever will be coming to Nintendo Switch’s Online classic game library this winter. A Steam version is in the works.
