Bringing Online Stunts IRL

Mr. Beast is also known for doing a bunch of stunts including hide-and-seek in a soccer stadium, being buried alive, and starting a fast food chain in 2020.

The Mr. Beast Burgers chain was a scheme that supposedly paid people to eat their burgers. It’s a nationwide chain with restaurants located around the country.

Things went south between Mr. Beast and his burger chain in the last 24 hours. Mr. Beast sued Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC), the company running the chain, for selling inedible burgers. He accused VDC of not ensuring the quality of MrBeast Burgers and consumers said they are inedible.

Mr. Beast claims the terrible reviews hurt is brand and reputation and he’s asking a judge to end the relationship between him and VDC.

Not So Fast

For its part, VDC says Mr. Beast is acting in bad faith, and there ain’t nothing wrong with MrBeast Burgers. VDC claims Mr. Beast wants to negotiate a new deal, and is bullying the firm to cough up money for using the Mr. Beast name.

VDC says Mr. Beast isn’t the good hearted philanthropist he makes himself out to be and is using the courts to negotiate a lucrative deal for himself.

Mr. Beast said he hasn’t made any money from MrBeast Burgers.

Mr. Beast, Pew Dee Pie, and other Internet celebrities have transcended the digital realm to make their mark on society. Often times, ordinary society doesn’t play the same as it does in the virtual realm.
